The Manor is located in Weston-on-the-Green, a delightful Oxfordshire village, and within easy reach of Oxford’s Dreaming Spires, a ”stone’s throw” from the fabulous Cotswolds, and only five minutes from Bicester Village shopping, Blenheim Palace, and many other attractions.
Proud of its 900-year-old history, the Manor is today a country house hotel, opening its doors to guests who seek a truly relaxed escape, with fine food, fine wine and beautiful, fascinating surroundings.
We invite you to treat our hotel as your home – we do not stand on ceremony here. So explore our house and gardens, enjoy a glass of wine in Bertie’s Bar or nip down to The Black Sheep, our own pub, just five minutes away, or walk your dog in our extensive grounds. Our doors are open and we invite you in.
A previous owner of The Manor, Sir Henry Norreys (Norris), is a key figure in the Man Booker Prize winning novels by Dame Hilary Mantel. Her work Wolf Hall has been adapted for television and is currently being broadcast on BBC1. For an insight into this fascinating period of history, read our blog here.
